About Our Dogs

Isle of Standard Poodles is home-based where our dogs are part of our family. They live in our home, sleep in our bedroom and travel with us. Our dogs are health tested with wonderful temperaments and sweet personalities, which is passed down to their offspring. Well socialized with dogs and children.

We joined the Canadian Kennel Club in 1989. Now some of our multi-coloured poodles are registered with the United Kennel Club (UKC) since all multi-coloured poodles can participate in confirmation shows when registered with the UKC.

Tye, Obedience Winner

IsleOf Black Tye Optional- (Tye) is the son of Joellen’s Tuxedo Affair- (Tux ) Here are some of his Obedience Winnings:

Middlesex Agility Club Rookie of the Year for 2019!!

There is no greater joy for a breeder than to place puppies in loving homes that want to work with their dogs. I am so proud of Mocha Latte and her owner Andrea Jolliffe with their accomplishments at the Middlesex Agility Club 2019. Mocha received her advanced Agility Canadian dog title !
This was the same year she had her first litter of 10 puppies. Mocha will be bred to Odin (Hessler’s Isle Of Kasanova Phantasy ) This fall for Her last litter.

Here are your 2 CGN TITLE HOLDERS with their Jr. Handler Harlyn!!! Woohoo!!!

We are so delighted to have beautiful litters of Standard Poodles. Both parents are healthy and all my own dogs are tested from Isle Of Standard Poodles.

Our Poodles are HIGH QUALITY puppies, with very calm, loyal and happy temperaments. Poodles DONT have to be high strung or overly hyper! We carefully select our dams and sires for temperament, health and confirmation.

When you purchase a IsleOf Standard Poodle puppy, he or she will come with: a wellness exam, 6 weeks of free puppy insurance, a micro chip, written health guarantee, puppy pack and breeder support.

We require an early REFUNDABLE  deposit of $250.00 if your desired puppy is not born yet, and you go on our wait list .

Once you pick out your desired  puppy  though pictures and or a video then  you add $250.00 making the $500.00 deposit NON-REFUNDABLE .

We do this because we turn down people when you say you have made the commitment and picked out your desired puppy.

“Let’s not measure a breeder’s success by the amount of winning their dogs do in the show ring, but by the number of dogs that stay with the family that purchased them as puppies, that die in the arms of that same family 14 years later. In that case we have three winners, the breeder, the family, and most importantly the dog.”
